| Comments: | Went here randomly on a Tuesday at about 2:00 pm, after seeing the review here and have to agree. We were both pleasantly surprised. Burger while thin still had good flavor. Not our favorite burger (which is MacGregor's), but good enough and satisfying. Most important the Hot Sauce (while a little salty alone) was quite good, not real spicy but just enough and the saltiness matched the nice crisp home fries which were appropriately un-salted. Mac salad slightly moister than others but blended well with the rest of the plate. Definitely liked it. They don't take credit cards, but have a ATM. Our server was very own cool and gave us a free fountain drink $2 value), for using the ATM, which required a $2.50 fee. Very smart way to handle that and it kept us from walking out as I had no cash on me! Down to earth decour nice but not fancy but clean and neat. Definitely will return again! |
